A Chinese manufacturer LONGI has invented solar panels which are so efficient and need very little maintenance. These are majorly made to remove the problem of dirt from panels. This design allows more sunlight to reach the cells which generates more power and reduces the cost of bills. It empowers green energy and reduces the consumption of bad energy resources.
Solar energy is now set to be more innovative and dirt free. Chinese Solar manufacturer LONGI is developing anti dust solar panels. Consumers using solar panels used to complain about dirt and debris which leads to reduced efficiency of the solar panels.
LONGI’s solar panels are a game changer in the solar industry. Their technology and innovation shows that they are working on all those problems that consumers are suffering using solar panels. Currently these solar panels are only available for Australia’s commercial and industrial market but LONGi is also planning to release its residentials anti dirt module too.
A recent survey was conducted which concluded that solar panel owners said “Our Global Customer Satisfaction survey revealed that dirt accumulation was a major concern for solar panel owners, leading to power loss and reduced performance. With the Hi-MO X6 Guardian Anti-Dust module, we have addressed this issue head-on by redesigning the frame to minimize the risk of hot spots and muck accumulation.”
Comparing traditional panels to LONGi’s solar panels, traditional panels consist of metallic ribbons at the back of the panels which block the sunlight from reaching the solar cells but LONGI’s panels consist of back – contact panels which transforms the design and enables sunlight to reach the surface area. This revolutionised design leads to 6 % improvement in power supply in comparison with traditional panels.
