Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA) and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) have now collaborated to develop the country’s renewable energy.

In a recent meeting, Pradip Kumar Das, CMD, IREDA, and Koppu Sadashiv Murthy, CMD, BHEL, discussed this collaboration to support and boost India’s ambitious goals of achieving 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.

The officials of Central Public Sector Enterprises shared  their opinions regarding the strategies to contribute to India’s renewable energy targets by working together.

BHEL’s Finance Director, Rajesh Kumar Dwivedi, also joined the meeting with the other members and shared his perspectives.

Highlighting the importance of this partnership, Pradip Kumar Das, CMD of IREDA said, “The synergy between IREDA and BHEL will significantly contribute to India’s renewable energy ambitions. Together, we aim to enhance the pace of project execution and provide robust financing solutions to support the government in achieving the 500 GW target by 2030.”

This partnership is a step towards securing a sustainable energy future for India, in line with the nation’s Viksit Bharat vision for 2047.

Both the enterprises commit to overcome challenges and to increase and develop renewable energy for a greener and cleaner future.
