Kerala, often referred to as “God’s Own Country”, is once again taking a giant leap in the renewable energy sector. Known for having the highest literacy rate in India, Kerala has long been at the front of progressive policies, sustainable initiatives, and forward-thinking governance. As the state works towards its 2047 net-zero goals, it is hosting the much-anticipated Global Hydrogen & Renewable Energy Summit 2025, beginning today at the Lulu Bolgatty International Convention Centre, Kochi.

This high-profile event will bring together top policymakers, industry leaders, global stakeholders, and experts to discuss the future of green hydrogen (GH2) and renewable energy as crucial elements of India’s decarbonization and energy security strategy.

A Global Platform for Green Energy Discussions

The summit is being organized by the Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research & Technology (ANERT) under the Power Department, Government of Kerala, in collaboration with Elets Technomedia as the knowledge partner. The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) and the Energy Management Centre (EMC) Kerala are the supporting organizations.

Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Pinarayi Vijayan will grace the event as the Chief Guest, alongside Shri K. Krishnan Kutty, Minister for Electricity, Government of Kerala, as the Guest of Honour.
