The International Solar Alliance (ISA) will host its second CEO Caucus and International Solar Festival (ISF) during the World Expo 2025. The event will be organized on July 3 and 4 in Osaka, Japan.
The festival aims to unite global leaders, innovators, policymakers, and youth champions for a step forward in the use of solar energy. This event was first launched in 2024.
India, along with Japan and the ISA’s 124 member countries, will participate in this amazing event. The event theme is “Forging the Future of Solar: India–Japan Innovations for a Sustainable Asia”.
An important discussion at the India-Japan Solar Industry Roundtable will be all about how these two countries can work like a team in areas such as battery storage, green hydrogen, and making solar equipment.
In this festival, the young people, entrepreneurs, and local communities will share their solar stories and experiences.
There will be special sessions like “Young G Limitless: Leading the Solar Takeover” to highlight youth leadership in solar energy. The cultural performance ‘Dastan-e-Aftaab’ will be going to celebrate the rich history and heritage of solar power.
ISA plans to hold the CEO Caucus and International Solar Festival every year as global events. They will also organize smaller regional meetings in places like Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and the Caribbean in 2025.
According to ISA Director General Ashish Khanna, these are more than just meetings. These events are global movements that unite nations, foster innovation, and accelerate solar adoption worldwide.
With more than 28 million people expected to attend the Expo, ISA’s presence highlights how important solar energy is for creating a cleaner and more connected future.
