Insolation Energy Limited (INA) has taken a big step forward in India’s solar manufacturing push. The company has started operations at a new 3 GW solar module plant along the Delhi-Ajmer Expressway in Jaipur, Rajasthan. With this, INA’s total module manufacturing capacity has now reached 4 GW.
At the same time, INA has begun work on a 4.5 GW solar cell plant and an 18,000 MT aluminium frame unit in Narmadapuram district, Madhya Pradesh, with an investment of ₹1,600 crore. The project, spread across 45 acres, is expected to create more than 1,600 jobs and strengthen India’s solar supply chain.
The Bhoomi Pujan ceremony was attended by INA leaders Manish Gupta (Chairman & Whole-Time Director) and Vikas Jain (Managing Director), along with senior dignitaries.
Madhya Pradesh is quickly becoming a new center for solar manufacturing, joining big states like Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu. With its plants in Jaipur and MP, INA is getting stronger to meet India’s rising need for solar modules and cells.
Gupta said, “This new facility will enhance our ability to serve rising demand across India.” Jain added, “Partnering with Madhya Pradesh is a milestone in our growth journey and reflects our confidence in the future of India’s solar industry.”
