In a stunning display at Dunhuang’s famous Mingsha Mountain dunes, Intelamp has set a new Guinness World Record for the largest display of solar-powered LED lights. On August 28, a total of 36,862 solar lights lit up the desert night, forming a brilliant “Silk Road” pattern and spreading a message of world peace.
The event broke the previous record of 24,765 lights set in Japan and attracted more than 40,000 visitors. The dazzling show not only gave people a stunning view but also showed the strength of renewable energy.
“For us, this record is more than just a number. It shows our vision of bringing light, warmth, and friendship to communities across the globe,” said Master Tang, Chief Scientist of Intelamp.
Based in Shenzhen, Intelamp is known for creating durable and high-performance solar lights. For eight years, the company has been spreading solar education in schools and donating thousands of solar lamps through global outreach programs.
It also supports cultural and sports projects, including sponsoring an international rugby team in Shenzhen.
China makes more than 90% of the world’s solar lights, and Intelamp is rising as a leading name worldwide, with its products popular on Amazon and its official website.
