Nyati Chesterfield CHS Ltd, near Country Club, Undri, has taken an amazing effort to protect the environment by installing a 32.4 kWp solar energy plant, along with rainwater harvesting and a composting facility for kitchen and garden waste.
Implemented through Solar Square Energy Pvt Ltd, the solar plant generates 105 units per day and 38,400 units annually. This will cut 32.3 tonnes of CO2 emissions every year. The initiative was supported by members, including Chairman Aashutosh Srivastava and Secretary Sunil Aiyer, along with leaders from Nyati Serenity and Nyati Exotica.
The society management said, “This project reflects our commitment to a clean and sustainable environment by adopting renewable energy, rainwater harvesting, and composting, we aim to benefit both the community and the planet.”
The society also urged support from the Pune Municipal Corporation and authorities to improve basic infrastructure, such as water and roads, for residents.
Nyati Chesterfield’s efforts set a strong example of responsible urban living. It is a perfect example of how we can combine eco-friendly practices with community well-being.
