Suzlon Energy Powers Ahead with ₹20,000 Crore Order Book

Suzlon Energy is one of India’s top wind turbine manufacturers. Nowadays, it is seeing strong growth in its business. The company has received orders worth ₹20,000 crore, which is more than double its current annual revenue.

This rise is mainly due to high demand within India, and competition is also less, which has made investors more confident in the company’s future.

Suzlon’s growth plan is based on five strong points. First, the company has a large and growing list of orders, currently around 5.6 gigawatts (GW).

Second, it has a strong presence in India’s wind energy market. The company is also helped by government support.

Third, Suzlon is starting to grow its exports, especially to Europe, and it hasn’t faced major problems from global tariffs because most of its parts are made in India.

Fourth, Suzlon has a balanced revenue structure between product sales and operations & maintenance (O&M) services. In fact, O&M contributes nearly 70% of the company’s EBITDA, which provides a stable, ongoing income.

Fifth, its after-sales service business remains strong, currently managing more than 15 GW of capacity. This boost became even stronger after Suzlon bought Renom, a company that added 3 more gigawatts of wind projects under its care and maintenance.

Financial analysts and brokerages are optimistic about Suzlon’s future, forecasting annual revenue and profit growth of 20% to 30% through FY2027.
