The Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024 successfully concluded with a valedictory session and MSME conclave, emphasizing Rajasthan’s growing prominence as an investment hub. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and other dignitaries attended the event, which focused on transparency and sustainable growth.
During the session, CM Sharma announced that to show the government’s commitment to accountability the progress of investment proposals signed during the summit would be publicly disclosed on December 11, 2025.
Additionally, the next edition of the summit will be held on December 9-11, 2026, providing a review of ongoing projects two years from now.
Some key initiatives highlighted during the event included the Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme (RIPS) 2024, offering interest subsidies on loans for MSMEs, incentives for employment generation, and electricity duty exemptions.
Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan described the summit as a crucial step for Rajasthan’s future and praised the state’s leadership.
Industries and Commerce Minister Col Rajyavardhan Rathore emphasized the role of MSMEs, which contribute 25% to the state’s GDP. The MSME conclave explored challenges, policy opportunities, and strategies to bolster growth in sectors like textiles, tourism, and ceramics.
IREDA Chairman Pradip Kumar Das highlighted Rajasthan’s renewable energy achievements, including 46.6 GW of installed capacity. He highlights the importance of Indo-German cooperation for green energy innovation.
The event also featured global delegations from countries like Germany, Denmark, and Japan, discussing investment opportunities. With ₹35 lakh crore worth of MoUs signed, the summit reaffirmed Rajasthan’s position as a leader in industrial and renewable energy innovation, making the way for a sustainable future.
