Indian solar module maker Gautam Solar has received approval from the California Energy Commission (CEC). This certification shows that Gautam Solar’s modules meet California’s strict standards for quality, safety, and performance.
It is an important achievement that will strengthen its global growth plans in the United States, which is the world’s second-largest solar market.
These standards are not only required for solar projects in California but also shape buying rules in other US states.
“With this certification, Gautam Solar is now ready to meet the rising demand for reliable and efficient solar solutions across the United States,” said Gautam Mohanka, CEO of Gautam Solar. “We have always focused on building globally certified, advanced solar modules, and this recognition further supports our mission to drive the global clean energy transition.”
It also proves that Gautam Solar can supply modules for both large-scale solar plants and smaller distributed projects.
The company has created several patented technologies and is still investing in research and development to make solar modules work better and last longer in different weather conditions, and meet global standards.
