Surat-based solar manufacturer Cosmic PV Power Pvt. Ltd. has announced big progress plans as it celebrated its 5th Foundation Day.
Cosmic PV, founded just five years ago by Shravan Gupta and Jenish Ghael, has grown continuously, from making 250 MW of solar modules in 2022 to producing 3 GW today. The company has built a good reputation as a trusted supplier for big solar firms.
Now, Cosmic PV is planning to set up its first 2 GW solar cell line to strengthen its place in the market, especially with new ALMM rules coming in. The company has also announced that it will launch an IPO in 2026. The company is making it one of the fastest solar startups in Gujarat to enter the stock market.
In addition, the firm is entering the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) space, with a plant expected to start at 2 GWh in 2026 and expand to 4 GWh by 2027. Module production capacity is also set to rise to 5 GW.
The Foundation Day event included a look back at the company’s journey, employee recognition, and a vote of thanks by directors Surabhi Sahu and Maitry Ghael.
With these announcements, Cosmic PV is aiming to diversify its business and position itself as a key player in both solar and energy storage markets.
