Big Green Boost: INOXGFL Opens Massive Solar & Wind Factories in Gujarat

by | Jan 5, 2026 | News | 0 comments

India’s INOXGFL Group has taken a major step in clean energy manufacturing by opening new large-scale solar and wind factories in Gujarat. Both facilities are located near Ahmedabad, the state’s largest city.

Under the first phase of its solar expansion, Inox Solar has started operations at a new plant in Bavla. The factory has an initial capacity of 3 GW and will manufacture advanced N-type TOPCon solar modules. These bi-facial modules are designed to generate power from both sides and will use M10R and G12R solar cells, which are known for higher efficiency.

The new solar plant is part of Inox Solar’s larger plan to reach 11 GW of module manufacturing capacity and 8 GW of solar cell capacity by the financial year 2027, across India and international markets.

At the same time, Inox Wind has inaugurated a new nacelle and hub manufacturing facility at Kalyangarh. With this addition, the company’s total wind manufacturing capacity has increased to 2.5 GW per year. The plant will produce nacelles and hubs for its 3-MW wind turbines as well as its upcoming 4-MW class machines.

Inox Wind already operates manufacturing units in Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh, where it makes key wind turbine components such as blades, towers, hubs, and nacelles.

These new facilities strengthen India’s domestic renewable energy manufacturing and support the country’s growing focus on clean power generation.
