Onix Solar Energy Limited has informed the stock exchange about a share pledge by its promoter company, Onix Renewable Limited.
The promoter has pledged 20% of its stake to HDFC Bank Limited to secure a loan. The pledge was created on February 26, 2026, and includes 4,098,777 shares.
Before this, the promoter held 18,796,848 shares, which equals 91.72% of the company. None of these shares were pledged earlier.
After the transaction, the promoter’s total holding remains 91.72%. However, 20% of the company’s total shares are now pledged.
The promoter now has 71.72% shares that are free from any pledge. The disclosure was made under SEBI rules and submitted to BSE Limited, where the company is listed.
The filing was digitally signed by Piyushkumar Mansukhbhai Savaliya, Managing Director of Onix Solar Energy Limited, and Divyeshkumar M. Savaliya, Director of Onix Renewable Limited.
Company officials have digitally signed the filing. Pledging shares is a common way for promoters to raise funds. It does not mean there is any change in ownership or control of the company.
