Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has operationalised 307.4 MW of new renewable energy projects in Khavda, Gujarat, marking another big step in India’s clean energy push. The projects will start supplying power from January 1, 2026, as per a regulatory filing.
With these additions, AGEL’s total operational renewable capacity has now reached 17,237.2 MW, making it one of the largest renewable energy players in the country.
The biggest project in this latest batch is a 126 MW hybrid plant developed by Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five Ltd.Adani Green Energy is really pushing ahead with renewables.
Like, Adani Green Energy Twenty Five C Ltd just got this 75 MW solar project up and running. And then there’s Adani Green Energy Twenty Six B Ltd with a 50 MW hybrid one that’s now online too.
Wind stuff is part of it as well. They commissioned a few, say 31.2 MW and 25 MW, plus some smaller wind units that I am not totally sure about the exact sizes. It all adds up to more variety in their portfolio, you know, mixing solar and wind and hybrids.
This expansion feels pretty fast to me, across those areas. It kind of supports what India wants, scaling up clean power that’s reliable. Some people might think it’s just business, but it seems to fit the bigger goals anyway. The projects are diversifying things, even if the wind ones get a bit lost in the bigger picture.
