Vikram Solar’s stock rose nearly 4% after the company won a major order of 148.9 MW of Topcon solar modules from Sunsure Energy Private Limited

The stock touched an intraday high of ₹348.8 per share on the BSE, before settling at ₹340.05, up 1.2%. In comparison, the BSE Sensex was up 0.88% at 85,169.71. The company’s market capitalization stood at ₹12,300 crore, with a 52-week high of ₹407.85 and a low of ₹312.50.

The rise in Vikram Solar’s share price came after it secured the new order from Sunsure Energy. The solar modules, each with a capacity of 595 Wp, will be set up in Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. In this deal, Vikram Solar will provide its M10R N-Type TOPCon modules, which are known for their high efficiency, reliability, and ability to produce more energy.

This new order adds to other major projects Vikram Solar has received this year, including 200 MW from AB Energia, 336 MW from L&T Construction, and 326 MW from Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited. These regular order wins show that the company is growing quickly and doing well in India’s solar manufacturing industry.

Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman and Managing Director of Vikram Solar, said that India crossing 125 GW of renewable energy capacity shows how strongly the country is moving towards its clean energy goals.

He added that the company’s collaboration with Sunsure Energy strengthens India’s renewable ecosystem by combining technological excellence with strong industry partnerships.

Vikram Solar, located in Kolkata, is one of India’s largest solar panel manufacturers. The company has a total production capacity of 4.5 GW and operates in 39 countries.

Vikram Solar earned the title of ‘Top Performer’ in PVEL’s 2025 PV Module Reliability Scorecard. It is also recognized as a Tier 1 solar module manufacturer by Bloomberg NEF. In India, Vikram Solar has a robust network of more than 100 authorized distributors, 375 dealers, and 75 system integrators.
