The INOXGFL Group has won the bid to acquire Wind World India’s Independent Power Producer (IPP) and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) businesses through an NCLT-approved process.
Under the deal, Inox Clean Energy will acquire around 600 MW of operational wind power projects through its subsidiary, Inox Neo Energies. Inox Green Energy Services will take over Wind World India’s wind O&M business, which manages nearly 4.5 GW of renewable energy assets.
Wind World India operates wind farms across seven major wind-rich states: Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh. Its O&M business serves large corporate clients, including Tata Group, ReNew, Greenko, Apraava Energy, and Hindustan Zinc.
Inox Clean strengthens its wind power portfolio and moves closer to its goal of achieving 10 GW of installed IPP capacity and 11 GW of integrated solar manufacturing capacity by FY28. Inox Green, which already manages around 13.3 GW of assets, will significantly increase its total managed capacity after adding the new portfolio.
The group has been actively expanding in the renewable sector. In 2025, Inox Clean also signed an agreement to acquire Vibrant Energy, a renewable IPP with a total portfolio of 1,337 MW, of which nearly 800 MW is operational.
This will strengthen INOXGFL Group’s position in India’s growing renewable energy sector.
